From May 15 to 16, the 2024 China-Zambia Cooperation High-Quality Development Forum, jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Zambia, China Chamber of Commerce of Metals, Minerals and Chemicals Importers and Exporters and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Zambia, was held in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia. Zambian President Hichilema , Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Du Xiaohui, Zambian Minister of Commerce, Trade and Industry Mulenga and 18 other cabinet ministers attended the forum. More than 1,000 representatives from Zambian government departments, parliament, political parties, local governments, international organizations, and more than 200 companies from both countries attended the forum. Relevant persons in charge of the company's office in Zambia attended the forum.

President Hichilema and his delegation visited the booth of the Jiangxi Economic Cooperation Zone in Zambia and highly praised the high-standard construction and investment promotion of the cooperation zone. He pointed out that the cooperation zone will play a vital and positive role in the future economic development of Zambia and become a link to promote the common economic development of China and Zambia. The establishment of the cooperation zone reflects the determination of both sides to deepen cooperation and common development, and will surely inject new impetus into promoting bilateral economic cooperation and achieve a mutually beneficial and win-win situation.

During the forum, Zambian Minister of Infrastructure Milupi and Minister of Energy Nzowu also visited the company's exhibition area and held talks with relevant persons in charge. They said that over the past 40 years, Jiangxi International has made remarkable achievements in Zambia's water conservancy, road and housing construction projects, and has played an important role in the development of Zambia's infrastructure construction. It is expected that Jiangxi International will make more contributions in the fields of infrastructure construction and new energy in Zambia in the future to promote better development of Zambia's economy.
